The Mezz Community Cafe at Ashford Place, Ashford Rd in Cricklewood is the only Chatty Cafe in Brent so far. The chattycafe scheme is a fantastic initiative which allows locals to connect with one another and reduces loneliness.

Sharing from MapRA: “The Hope Cafe at St Gabriels runs on Monday afternoons from 1-3pm. People of all faiths and none are welcome and they offer a light lunch for free, but mainly it’s a space for company and conversation. It is underpinned by a Christian ethos of love and inclusion, but no one will have “religion” pushed at them, though of course the offer of prayer is always available. Sometimes get as many as 60 visitors. During the school summer holidays they will open alternate weeks i.e August 7th, and 21st.”
