Museums at Night: Brent Museum

Brent will be taking part in the national initiative ‘Museums at Night’. Museums at Night seeks to promote museums to new audiences by inviting culture and heritage venues across the nation to open their doors after hours and showcase their exhibits in new and exciting ways. Brent Museum will be doing this through two events on 30 October.

First, there will be a storytelling session for families in the museum focusing on spooky Halloween and world stories at 5pm. Then, between 7-11pm there will be a 1950s themed evening, guests will be invited to explore some of the most interesting 1950s objects held by Brent Museum. 1950s film footage will be shown and there will be 50s music and dancing in the performance space. Everyone attending is encouraged to dress in 1950s style!

The storytelling is free of charge and there is no need to book. The 50s evening is £5 per person and can be booked through the Brent website.
