Brent have just launched a Clean Up Competition and NorthWestTWO has entered. We are going to Clean and Green the neighbourhood with your help. The winners prize is £250 to be spent on anything that benefits the community.
When: This Saturday, 21 November 2015
Time: 10.30 am
Where: Meet at NorthWestTWO community notice board, outside Munros newsagents, 28 Temple Road, NW2
Refreshments will be available.
We are going to:
– litter pick the roads off the Broadway on the Brent side – Oaklands, Ashford, Mora and Temple but you can also do your own road
– report and log any flytipping/dumping and if you haven’t used the Brent Cleaner App, we will show you.
– street planting in Temple/Newton Road
– show children how to plant a daffodil bulb which they can take away to nuture
Puja Patel of Munros newsagents will be offering a free belt to any volunteers who will tidy up and plant the triolife outside the shop.
It’s only an hour, and the more volunteers that join in, the cleaner the neighbourhood.
