The Friends of Gladstone Park would like to thank all those who contributed, via the bird, tree and bat walks, to the 900 daffodils planted in the long grass area near the green painted railway bridge in Gladstone Park two weekends ago. The FoGP paid for 500 and Veolia presented us with their contribution of 400 for which we were very grateful. Varieties were chosen to flower over a long period, from February to May and are a mix of golden and white flowers. All these were planted in just an hour and a half by an amazing group of volunteers and a very good time was had by all. We are looking forward to next spring!!
