The Cricklewood Town Team are volunteer residents with representatives from most of the local groups in Cricklewood, with the aim of improving the neighbourhood we live and work in. We come together to arrange events and projects but we also undertake individual interests. A lot of effort is going into trying to clean up the Town Centre. Many of the grot spots are private land, with absentee landlords so the Councils end up using their limited resources in trying to clean up these problem (flytipping) areas at a cost. Take the alleyways off Cricklewood Lane, these are private land and the challenge is finding the landlords, as many are sub let, then trying to get the landlords to respond. One of these alleyways the residents/landlords have funded and installed a gate which is the ideal solution but not obligatory.
