These changes set to come into effect on 29 November 2016. All visitor vouchers purchased before this date will be charged at the current rate of £1.50 and remain valid to park for the day.
Increase to visitor parking charges
On Monday 24 October 2016, Cabinet agreed to increase visitor parking charges for stays of longer than two hours, in order order to regulate demand for parking spaces and encourage visitors to consider using our public transport networks wherever possible.
These changes will include; £1.50 for two hours, £3 for four hours and £4.50 to park for the day. The yearly visitor household permit cost will increase to £163.
