A resident has been working with NorthWestTWO, Brent Council and Cllr Lia Colacicco regarding the issue of these bins in Ashford Road on the pavement. Brent have spoken to the leaseholder of the property to reach a solution and the plan is the bins will be kept within the property and Veolia will be given restricted access to the bin area to allow them to make collections from inside the property. Hopefully within the month the bins will be off the public highway once the practicalities of the solution, including provision of recycling bins, have been finalised.
Another resident has suggested “how about an hour where residents remove both the weeds and rubbish from their own road of residence – the weeding idea is a simple idea of people coming together on each road they live on for one hour and one hour only to make it look better”
Trust me, Cllr Lia Colacicco has no interest in local issues and listens to Council officers more than residents.
Who wants to know where 10 people are living in one house without planning permission 2 minutes from this location and Cllr Lia Colacicco and Cllr Ahmad Shahzad REFUSE to do anything about it.
