Heritage Project Lead
Heritage Project Lead – 1 year project, based at Ashford Place – 30 hours per week. £30,000 incl.
Our ‘Generations of Learning’ project will focus on capturing, celebrating and sharing the history, heritage and experiences of Cricklewood’s diverse immigrant communities, in particular the Pakistani and Irish immigrant communities. Cricklewood is in the borough of Brent – one of the most diverse areas in the UK with an ethnic minority population of 64% (according to the 2011 Census) – the second highest proportion in England and Wales. It has both established and new communities.
The successful candidate will coordinate, manage and deliver this Project, funded by Heritage Lottery Fund with support from our volunteers and a project steering group as well as Brent Museum & Archives.
Ashford Place welcomes applications from candidates who have experience of managing oral history projects, and community engagement work.
