Call out for enthusiastic diggers – Gladstone Park
Everyone is welcome, even for an hour on either day. Veolia staff and Friends of Gladstone Park will be on hand to help and advise. We are planting whips, otherwise known as bare root shrubs.
Sunday 4 March: Litter clean An event for the family: Join the Friends of Gladstone Park and Veolia staff to deep clean the park during the Great British Spring Clean weekend. Litter pickers and bags will be provided
Saturday 24 March: Build an insect hotel Bring your child along and help
them build a hotel for insects. Tools, work bench and materials supplied
and friendly experts around to help. Donations appreciated.
Monday 2 April: Easter fun by the walled garden From 10.30-12.30: An event for families. Seed planting, games and an art table
Monday 2 April: Another chance to clear litter.
