The formal consultation on parking in controlled-parking zone GM has begun. The zone includes streets from Olive Road towards Cricklewood Broadway, across towards Chichele Road and down Heber Road. Every household on the affected streets should have found an envelope in their postbox by now. The plan is to have different hours on different streets. The same permit would apply to the whole area. On streets near Cricklewood Broadway, broadly speaking, you’d need it to park between 10 am and 9 pm, Monday to Saturday. On the rest, permits would only be needed Monday to Friday, starting at 10 am and finishing at either 3 pm or 6:30 pm – that’s to be decided and one of the things they’re consulting about.
