Cricklewood Town Centre is a key Growth Area and one of Barnet’s main town centres. Barnet Council will direct fourteen hundred new homes into it, including a thousand and seven on the B&Q site and a hundred and thirty-two on the Beacon Bingo site, within the next five years or so, with the potential to increase further. Barnet might work with Brent and Camden.
That’s what Barnet’s new Local Plan says about Cricklewood. It’s a draft at the moment, open for comments until 20 March 2020. It’s available online and it will be discussed at Barnet’s Residents Area Forums on Wednesday 4 March, starting 7pm.
