Brent Council new parking system (RingGo)

Brent Council new parking system (RingGo)

We only found out about this when people started reporting problems they ran into on Wednesday 4 July; it wasn’t in the Summer 2023 Your Brent magazine, the council hasn’t written to residents and they only sent out a general email on Thursday 5 July.

Checking back, we see the council decided to switch from Serco on 22 December 2022, and extended the contract with Serco to its maximum 3 July 2023 to allow for the switchover.

Brent Council now tell us:

Brent Council’s new parking portal is now live.  If you already have an existing digital permit, it will automatically be transferred to the new portal.

You need to register an account on the RingGo permit system, even if you already have have a RingGo parking account.

Once you have set up your account, you can then use the RingGo app (used for paying by phone for on street parking), to purchase permits.

Follow the steps to set up your new permit account, apply for and buy permits in this link

If you had visitor credits on the old DASH portal, we will contact and arrange for you to be issued with visitor parking credits. The credits on the old portal could not be transferred directly in to the new RingGo account. In the meantime, you will need to purchase visitor parking sessions.

Should you experience any issues, please email Brent at: parking.permits@brent.gov.uk.
