Charity Collections

Forwarding from resident:   Yesterday I received a charity collection bag for Leukemia Care but although there is a charity called Leukemia Care, it is a commercial company – East London Textiles – that is collecting on their behalf – maybe.  When I google that company this is what I found:   
https://www.leukaemiacare.org.uk/get-involved/other-ways-to-give/recycling-bags-faqs/   If people want to be sure donated goods are going to a good cause, do a bit of homework and look for the charity number on the fine print and research.  Or take them to a real charity shop.
