Call for steering group

Clean Air for Brent is a new coalition of residents’ associations, community groups and individuals in Brent focused on raising awareness, changing behaviours and lobbying for better measures to tackle air pollution in order to improve public health outcomes.

We are looking for people to join the steering group, and take on some of the roles outlined in the document, so if you would be interested, please let us know.

We will be holding a meeting in the early autumn to appoint people to the steering group, to hear an update from Brent Council on their plans for tackling air pollution, and to do some action-planning on our next steps. Further details will follow soon.

Brent Council roll out of electric vehicle charging points

Brent Council is in the process of installing charging points for electric vehicles across the borough. The council is currently compiling a list of requests for charging points from residents and will prioritise people who don’t have their own driveways and who either own or are buying an electric vehicle.  Anyone who wants a charging point should contact:  Annekatrin.Dennemann@brent.gov.uk and Grace.Eminton@brent.gov.uk
