Coming soon in Willesden Green
* Sunday 7 February – the Wassail
* Saturday 13 February – Love Party
* Sunday 6 March – Mother’s Day event in aid of UNICEF
As the collective expands more and more things are happening in Queens Parade, Unit 1 and Unit 3, NW2.
This Sunday the 7th, the Wassail, organized by Rachel Rose Reid, will end up in our premises – Unit 3 is a lovely space for human gathering of all kinds. If you haven’t heard of the Wassail before, it is an ancient pagan tradition consisting of blessing the apple trees in Winter, in the hope to get loads of apples. In Willesden Green, the procession bless shops instead of trees, and there are poets, story tellers, singers, artists entertaining the crowd as it goes. Meeting point: This Sunday the 7th at 2pm, Willesden Green Station
One week later, Reason Season Lifetime – that is RSL Collective – organizes a Love Party. Saturday the 13th being just the day before St Valentine, the theme shouldn’t surprise. Come along from 1pm to 7pm at Queens Parade to chat, have a drink, socialize, meet the alternative therapists, readers, facilitators… and enjoy taster sessions of everything. (I will tell short stories every exact hour: 2pm – 3pm – 4pm – etc….
Eventually, for Mother’s day, that is Sunday the 6th of March) I will organize a charity event in aid of Unicef: the one minute speech challenge, with special thoughts for the Syrian children but not only. This will be the second One Minute Speech Challenge, and the first one in Willesden Green, in RSL premises, Queens Parade, Unit 3 Here is a video of the first one: https://youtu.be/AU1o8ltuYiY
As you see, loads of good stuff is going on, don’t hesitate to visit us at any moment during the week, or ask questions on this link. There are seeds of love and happiness growing here!
