Discussions are being held with the Manager of Cricklewood Station to tidy up Cricklewood Lane with some partnership working with Thameslink, Network Rail, Community Payback, Barnet Council, voluntary Cricklewood Town Team and local residents/volunteers. More news to follow but in the meantime if you have any inexpensive, low maintenance ideas to brighten up the entrance to the Thameslink Cricklewood station as well as the strip of land the other side of the bridge owned by Network Rail, email: townteam@cricklewood.net. First plan is to cut back and tidy up these sites and remove the wire mesh fence on the lefthand side as you enter the station and open up this area to make it more attractive, bearing in mind half of that bank from the street will be taken up with new bicycle stands sometime during the year.
