Forwarding from Marco and Galya, who are very gracious, but without them this party would not have happened.
Brent and Kilburn Times feature about the party
Wonderful performers at the Olive Road Street Party
We hope you all had a lovely time at our neighbourhood street party yesterday! Thank you to all who came, brought delicious food and cakes and made our party a great neighbourhood event!
We held our party to get to know each other, to build our fantastic community and just have a great party! We also held the party to raise money for our soon to be opening new Cricklewood Library. I am pleased to say that thanks to our really generous sponsors and your donations, we have raised over £1,500 – I’ll let you know exactly how much when we have counted the money in the buckets! Sally and the FoCL team you have done amazing work for our new Cricklewood Library, firstly just to get us the space. Thank you very much for all of your hard work. We are really looking forward to seeing our new library.
All,the FOCL team rely on our support, so if you would like to make a further donation or get involved, please contact Sally Long who is cc’d to this mail. Here is Cricklewood Library’s website: http://cricklewoodlibrary.org.uk
This party would not have happened without Marie at NorthWestTwo. From giving our party money from your annual budget, to dealing with some of our sponsors, to sorting our road closure to raising money through the street party quiz and much much more, you have been amazing Marie. And it’s not just this street party, you and your colleagues are doing great work, week in week out in our NorthWestTwo Residents Association. You are a true asset to our community. Thank you so much for everything you do!
All, if you would like to join the NorthWestTwo Residents’ Association, it only costs £5 per year. For that sum you receive weekly newsletters telling you about local events and activities, you get discounts at local restaurants, shops and services, and much more. By joining you also make events like our street party happen. You can pay your annual membership due at Munro Store on Temple Road or pay on online at NorthWestTwo’s site https://www.northwesttwo.org.uk/join-us/

We need to start with a HUGE thank you to all of you who donated money at our street party. You give a massive £987 on the day. That’s about £100 per set of tables / area. We also need to say a huge thank you to the NorthWestTwo Residents’ Association and our other very generous financial sponsors (please see below) who gave more than £2,000 to the street party fund. After costs (we ran the party for £866) we made a profit of £2,172. This profit goes directly to Cricklewood Library.
