DB Cargo’s construction waste and aggregates facility at 400 Edgware Road has been making slow progress. Work that was going to be done last year isn’t complete yet. Design work is continuing and DB Cargo are still negotiating approvals and planning conditions with Network Rail and Barnet Council. In early February we asked if DB still planned to complete in June, which would mean fitting a lot of work into half the time they originally planned.
We hope to get an answer late this month. Meanwhile, you can read their latest bulletin here. You’ll notice it mentions that the most visible bit so far, removing the old lighting towers, should be finished this week.
