Today, the Mayor of London has told Barnet Council he does not wish to direct refusal or take over the application for the aggregates/spoil RFF superhub at 400 Edgware Road.
We always knew the mayor’s power and grounds to intervene were limited but it’s still disappointing. We need to read the report and think about our options. It is disturbing that the report says the proposed Waste Handling Facility’s reduced capacity creates a shortfall which will have to be made up.
