Following on from the first and second successful “Time to Talk” events in July and October which focused on hate crime and extremism; Brent will play host to another event in this series on 17 January 2017. This time, we will be focusing on the important issue of gangs.
Attending the event, there will be a number of high-profile speakers attending including Angela Herbert MBE of the National Offender Management Service, Maria Arpa of the Centre for Peaceful Solutions, DJ Gussy of RootsFM and a former gang member.
The aim is to develop community-led strategies to empower the people of Brent to unite and tackle the scourge of gangs. We will be having a question time style panel discussion followed up by workshops.
Please tell your colleagues, family and friends about the event which takes place at The Roundwood Youth Centre in Harlesden (NW10 3UN) on 17 January 2017 at 5.30pm. Tickets can be booked online here.
Many thanks
