Tree Walk

TREE WALK with LAWRENCE USHERWOOD

We didn’t get to see many trees but instead went away with an in depth understanding of how trees grow, how much water they can take up, their pathogens, how they spread and their affect on each species, their wildlife value and how we can equate a tree to a sailing boat to appreciate that reducing its crown won’t damage it but will instead prolong its life as well as ensuring it’s safe to be around. THANK YOU LAWRENCE. You had us gripped, stimulated and enthralled as well as teaching us a great deal. Photo 1. Sunny eve around a Balsam Poplar. Photo 2.
